How to Remove Your Headrests

• If you have removable headrests, you will start by removing them to begin installing your seat covers. Please note this only applies to headrests which are fully adjustable.

• Some vehicles will come with built-in headrest (high back buckets) or folding headrests or active headrests where you DO NOT need to remove the headrest.

Tips for Headrest Removal

• Button Removal: Many vehicles have removable headrests that can be taken out by pushing one or two buttons on the plastic cap located at the bottom of the headrest post.

• Pinhole Release: Some vehicles will have a small pin hole on either of the plastic moldings. use a small finishing nail or paper clip and insert it to push the release mechanism inside the plastic.

• Button & Pinhole Release: In some cases, vehicles may have both. Press on the push button while inserting a finishing nail or paper clip into the pin hole release at the same time.

• Clip Removal: In rare cases, vehicles may have a clip located under the plastic cap. Locate the ends of the clip and use a screwdriver to push the clip out the other side.

• Rotating Cap: In some older vehicles, the plastic cap needs to be rotated counterclockwise to remove the headrest.

• Buttons Under Upholstery: In some luxury vehicles, the push button is located under the original upholstery. Feel for the button and push inwards on it to release the headrest.

IMPORTANT: If you are unsure if your headrests can be removed, please contact us before attempting to remove them.

1. If applicable, remove the elastics or clips holding the carpeting flap located below the backrest cover, this will allow you to properly pass the front straps/Velcro towards the back.

2. The elastics or clips will be wrapped around the metal brackets under the cushion.

How to Install Your Driver and Passenger Bottom Cushions

1. Proceed to align the cushion, ensuring they contour to the seat. Make sure the longest strap (if any are present) is on the outside closest to the door. Your cushion may also come with a J-clip which needs to be tucked in between the plastic moulding or elastics with S-hooks which need to be pulled underneath the cushion and attached to something metal. DO NOT attach the S-hooks to any wiring underneath the seat.

2. Pass both buckle straps through crevice between the backrest and bottom cushion. Then you will need to run the straps underneath the seat and attach them to the opposite buckle.

3. If applicable, attach the elastic with S-Hook located in between the cushion cover under the seat.

4. If applicable, remove the male buckle from the side strap and feed the strap in between the plastic trim and your cushion. Then you will need to reattach the buckle to the strap and feed it across so that it may attach to the opposite buckle. This applies to both power and manual seats with plastic moulding on the side of the cushions.

5. If applicable, raise the bottom cushion up to allow better access under the seat.

How to Install Your Driver and Passenger Backrest Covers

1. First, align the backrest covers. If airbag alterations are required, you will have a cut-out with a flap on the side of each backrest cover. Ensure you install the backrests, so the cutouts are located on the outside seam of the backrests, closest to the door

2. Determine whether your backrest covers have Velcro strips or elastics with S-hooks.

3. If your backrest comes with a Velcro hook (will be rough) on both ends, you may reattach the seat bib that was undone. These Velcro pieces will attach on the inside and outside of the seat bib once reattached.

4. You will need to install the front portion of the backrest first. Run your hand down the middle of the backrest to press the material into the contours of your seat. Then reattach the seat bib and finally attach the last of the elastics with S-hooks. This will only apply if your backrest covers come with elastics and S-hooks.

How to Install Your Console or Armrest Covers

Inner/Outer Armrest(s)

This type of solid armrest is located on the inside/outside of the backrest.

1. Set each armrest cover you have next to each armrest so that it can properly align.

2. Ensure the cut-out is facing the inside towards the backrest. Cut-out should not be facing upwards or outwards.

3. Pull armrest cover on and pull as far as you can so the cut out properly sits at the back of the armrest, facing the inside.

If your buckets seats have a stationary, floor mounted console (and you cannot seat a third person in the middle), we currently DO NOT offer covers for this type of center console.

If your vehicle has a console where you can lift it up and seat a third person, please refer to the installation guide for a 40/20/40 for seat type accurate instructions for your vehicle.

How to Install Your Headrest Covers

2. Slip headrest cover over the top of headrest and pull all the way down.

3. Headrest covers are usually tight and may require you to squeeze the foam on the headrest slightly to allow the cover to slip over.

4. Align seams of cover with the seams on the headrest.

5. Replace headrests back into seat, making sure they are facing the correct ways.

How to Install Your Console Cover or Solid Arm Cover

Center Console Cover

Many vehicles will have a center console where you can lift it up and seat a third person. If your vehicle has an opening console, you will need to install the longest piece on the top section only and the shorter cover with Velcro will go on the middle bottom cushion.

If you have a stationary, floor mounted console, we currently DO NOT offer a cover for this console type. Please refer to the installation guide for Bucket seats for accurate instructions for your vehicle.

If you do have a 40/20/40 seat type, please proceed by:

1. Determine if you have an opening console OR solid arm.

2. Determine if you have 20 under seat storage OR no 20 under seat storage.

3. Some of our configurations will include all types of center consoles while others must be selected at the time of purchase.

Opening Console Cover

This type of console has a compartment on the top section that opens and allows you to store items.

1. Locate the longest cover with cut-outs for cup holders (if applicable).

2. You will need to feed the top section of the console in between the backrest and the cushion.

3. Align the front section with the cup holders.

4. Open the console and attach the Velcro straps going across.

5. Pull the back section firmly and slide it over the lid and attach the Velcro going across.

6. Close the lid and make sure all the seams are properly aligned.

Special Instructions

•Some console covers will have Velcro on the side flap, which will attach on the back section with Velcro.

• Some console covers will have a zipper which is made to accommodate the integrated seat belt.

• Some vehicles do not have cup holders, so you will need to locate the cover by identifying the longest cover.

Solid Arm Cover Cover

This type of arm does not open and has no storage compartment.

1. Locate the cover with the cup holder cut-out (if applicable).

2. Remove the headrest cover (if applicable).

3. Slide the cover over the center backrest and attach the Velcro together.

Special Instructions

• Some console covers will have a zipper which is made to accommodate the integrated seat belt.

Inner/Outer Armrest(s) Cover

This type of solid armrest is located on the inside/outside of the backrest.

How to Install Your 20 Middle Center Bottom Cushion

Center Cushion with Under Seat Storage

The middle 20 bottom cushion has a compartment with a latch.

1. Locate the cover with a cut-out on the front section and a few Velcro strips underneath.

2. Align the cover, accordingly, using the cut-out as guidance.

3. Attach the front Velcro strips under the bottom cushion carpeting.

4. Then attach the side Velcro strips.

5. Finally, attach the Velcro located on the back section of the cover.

Special Instructions:

• Some 20 bottom cushion covers will only have 2 Velcro which attach. This will apply to most older vehicles

Center Cushion without Under Seat Storage

The middle 20 bottom cushion has no compartment and no latch.

1. Locate the bottom cushion cover with only ONE strip of Velcro on the back section.

2. Align the front section and sides properly and pull towards the back.

3. Firmly, pull and attach Velcro to the carpeting of the vehicle.

• You will need to remove the bottom cushion for most sedan vehicles.

• There will either be a pressure clip on each end where you will need to firmly push up OR a clip with a locking mechanism that you will need to slightly pull or rotate.

• Please note that some of these cushions may also be hooked on the rear section with an added bracket.

• You will need to press down on the rear section of the seat and pull towards the front to undo the bracket.

• This DOES NOT apply to trucks as the cushion folds up.

How to Install Your Bottom Cushion Cover(s) (For Trucks)

1. Detach all the male buckles from the cushions.

2. Some trucks and SUVs will have a 40/60 cushion, while others have a 60/40 cushion. The installation process will be identical for both vehicles. (These vehicles might also come with a solid cushion; the process will remain the same).

3. Most sedan vehicles will come with a solid cushion.

4. Align the covers to the cushion, so that all the cut-outs line up properly.

5. Some covers will have 2 cut-outs per side for child seat safety anchors. These are not for your seat belts.

6. Run the straps across from each other and attach them accordingly.

7. Some bottom cushions will come with either elastics with S-hooks or white plastic tabs. The S-hooks will attach under the cushion while the plastic tabs will just tuck in between the seat. This applies to most non removable cushions.

If applicable, attach the Velcro strips underneath the cushions carpeting.

How to Install Your Backrest Cover(s)

1. Detach all the buckles from the backrest, if applicable.

2. Note that most of the backrest on sedan vehicles will come with Velcro, which will attach to each other or to the carpeting of the vehicle.

3. Some trucks and SUVs will have a 40/60 backrest, while others have a 60/40. The installation process will be identical for MOST of these vehicles. (These vehicles might also come with a solid backrest; the process will remain the same).

4. Most sedan vehicles will come with a solid backrest while others might have a 60/40 or 40/60 backrest. The installation process will remain the same.

5. Fold the cushion up as this will bring the backrest forward about 1 inch (applies to most trucks only).

6. You will need to remove the male buckle from the longest strap as this will allow you to properly feed the strap behind the backrest.

7. Make sure to pass the 60% backrest under the integrated seat belt located on the middle.

8. Once the straps are properly attached, you will need to firmly tighten them by pulling up.

9. You will need to pass the side-to-side strap under the seat and over the seat belt anchor, if any, then attach to the opposite side and firmly tighten it.

10. If your vehicle has an armrest/Cup holder the backrest cover will have a cut-out made to cover the back section.

How to Install Pullout Armrest Cover

1. Start by folding down the pullout armrest to properly install the cover.

2. The pullout armrest cover has Velcro on the backside which will attach to each other.

3. Ensure you pull the cover all the way to the back of the armrest.

4. Fasten the Velcro straps tightly to secure it in position.

How to Install Side Panels/Bolsters

1. The side panels will need to be aligned properly.

2. They will have white plastic tabs which will tuck in between the plastic trim of the vehicle.
