How to Remove Your Headrests

• If you have removable headrests, you will start by removing them to begin installing your seat covers. Please note this only applies to headrests which are fully adjustable.

• Some vehicles will come with built-in headrest (high back buckets) or folding headrests or active headrests where you DO NOT need to remove the headrest.

Tips for Headrest Removal

• Button Removal: Many vehicles have removable headrests that can be taken out by pushing one or two buttons on the plastic cap located at the bottom of the headrest post.

• Pinhole Release: Some vehicles will have a small pin hole on either of the plastic moldings. use a small finishing nail or paper clip and insert it to push the release mechanism inside the plastic.

• Button & Pinhole Release: In some cases, vehicles may have both. Press on the push button while inserting a finishing nail or paper clip into the pin hole release at the same time.

• Clip Removal: In rare cases, vehicles may have a clip located under the plastic cap. Locate the ends of the clip and use a screwdriver to push the clip out the other side.

• Rotating Cap: In some older vehicles, the plastic cap needs to be rotated counterclockwise to remove the headrest.

• Buttons Under Upholstery: In some luxury vehicles, the push button is located under the original upholstery. Feel for the button and push inwards on it to release the headrest.

IMPORTANT: If you are unsure if your headrests can be removed, please contact us before attempting to remove them.

1. If applicable, remove the elastics or clips holding the carpeting flap located below the backrest cover, this will allow you to properly pass the front straps/Velcro towards the back.

2. The elastics or clips will be wrapped around the metal brackets under the cushion.

Please Note: If your seat covers are a one piece design, please go to “How to Install One Piece Design Seat Covers” below, in this step.

IMPORTANT: Remember, if your seats have side impact airbags, ensure that you install the backrest covers with the airbag flaps placed over the airbag locations (closest to the door). Covers are labeled with stickers: “DRIVER” and “PASSENGER”.

1. If your bucket seats have non-removable headrests, this will not affect how you install your backrest covers as they will be altered to accommodate this feature.

2. If the seat has an armrest, place it in the “up” position. If the cover has a zipper unzip it.

3. Pull your cover over top of the backrest. It can be helpful to start with the cover inside-out.

4. Pass the bottom flap through the opening between the seat back and the seat bottom, then attach the Velcro. You can fold the seatback forward to gain better access while passing the flap through. Certain seats will need to be folded forward for proper installation.

5. If your bucket seats have integrated seat belts, this process will differ slightly.

1. Slide backrest portion over the seat back and adjust.

2. *due to elasticity, covers must be installed from one side to the other*

3. Push the fabric over the headrest holes trim and tuck material under

4. Place the bottom cushion portion over the backrest to gain access to the straps

5. Use the tool to pass the straps through the seat opening (between where the backrest meets the cushion)

6. Place cover on seat bottom and align to seat seams

7. Tuck the cover between the seat back and bottom.

8. Pull the straps through the back of the seat.

9. Adjust seat to the upmost position to allow room under the seat.

10. Pass straps underneath seat toward the front of the seat.

11. Secure the S hooks under the seat.

12. Attach the buckles together and tighten the straps under the seat.

13. Tuck the sides on the cover under the plastic trim.

14. Proceed to next applicable step.

How to Install Your Driver and Passenger Bottom Cushion Covers

1. Position your cover over the seat bottom.

2. Pass the flap between seat back and seat bottom, like the backrest installation.

3. It may be easier if you fold the seat back forward.

4. Join and tighten the buckles under the seat.

5. Attach the side hooks to the buckle straps.

Note: You May need to tuck the cushion cover in between the plastic casing of the seat. This will give a finished look on the side of the seat.

How to Install Your Armrest(s) and Console Cover(s)

Armrest(s)

1. To install your backrest cover around armrests, pull the cover under the armrest and tuck behind.

2. To install your armrest covers, pull the cover over the armrest, and affix the Velcro.

Console Cover

If your buckets seats have a stationary, floor mounted console (and you cannot seat a third person in the middle), we currently DO NOT offer covers for this type of center console.

If your vehicle has a console where you can lift it up and seat a third person, please refer to the installation guide for a 40/20/40 for seat type accurate instructions for your vehicle.

Levers

1. Some levers or controls may require a slit in the seat covers (B).

2. Before you reinstall your headrests, the material around the headrest posts can be stretched over the headrest bases, and tucked underneath for a super clean, tight finish.

3. Once you’ve done this, reinstall your headrests.

Armrests & Levers (Lumbar Support Adjusters, etc.)

4. Adjust the material around your armrests by tucking excessive material around the base.

5. Pay special attention to small levers, such as lumbar support. The material should be tucked under these levers.

Bonus Tips

6. After the first 2 weeks of use, tighten the seat back covers by releasing them, and (using the assistance of another person) pulling. Reaffix the Velcro fastener. Tip: Fold the seatback forward for easier access.

7. Tighten the seat bottom buckles as well.

Center Cushion without Under Seat Storage

The middle 20 bottom cushion has a compartment with a latch.

1. Pull the cover over the bottom cushion and align it with the seat.

2. Use the installation tool to pass the straps through the sides of the seat.

3. Secure the s hooks under the seat.

Center Cushion with Under Seat Storage

1. Expose the Velcro on the covers. Slide the cover onto the bottom cushion.

2. Pass the clips through the bottom side of the console.

3. Secure the Velcro on the underside of the bottom console.

4. Lift the bottom cushion up and pull the fabric through.

5. Expose the Velcro on the flap and secure to the underside of the bottom console.

6. Attach the elastic straps together underneath the console.

How to Install Your Console, Solid Arm, and/or Armrest(s) Covers

Opening Console Cover

This type of console has a compartment on the top section that opens and allows you to store items.

1. Slide on console top, then console bottom.

2. Pass console bottom flap through opening, then attach Velcro.

3. Place base cover in place, slide flap (E) through. Attach and tighten the buckles and attach hooks.

Solid Arm Cover

This type of arm does not open and has no storage compartment.

1. Slide the cover over the console.

2. Adjust the cover around the cupholders (if applicable).

3. Feed the material through the space in between the seat.

4. Pull the fabric tightly behind the console.

5. Secure the Velcro behind and on the sides of the console.

• To install your backrest cover around armrests, pull the cover under the armrest and tuck behind.

• To install your armrest covers, pull the cover over the armrest, and affix the Velcro.

1. Raise seat bottom then release the latch behind the backrest to lower the backrest.

2. Slide the backrest cover behind the middle seat belt and slide cover over the backrest.

3. Push the fabric over the headrest trim (one at a time) and tuck material under.

4. Tuck the fabric through the seat back and bottom (to behind the seat).

5. Fold down the seat back and pull the fabric tightly.

6. Secure the fabric to the Velcro. Note: Latches will be accessible when installed properly*.

7. Place seat back in its original position.

How to Install Your Bottom Cushion Cover(s)

Please Note: You may have straps instead of Velcro – depending on the vehicle.

1. Undo Velcro on seat covers.

2. Pull release strap to raise the seat bottom.

3. Slide cover over the seat bottom and align.

4. Tuck material between the seat back and bottom again.

5. Raise seat bottom again to pull the fabric tightly and attach the Velcro. (one side to the other.

How to Install Your Rear Console or Pullout Arm Cover
