Patriotic Cars that Really Embrace Independence Day

For many, July 4th is a time to celebrate with family and friends, BBQ, and watch the fireworks while drinking a few Budweisers. Better yet, sit back and enjoy a few cans of America, thanks to Bud’s ingenious marketing campaign to rename its beer “America”, you can now literally drink a can of the homeland this summer.

To get you in the celebratory mood, I’ve rounded up the Most U.S. Patriotic Cars out there. These vehicles are truly American.

A Very Patriotic Hummer H1

What better way to show off your patriotism than with the civilian version of the military M998 Humveee.

Originally manufactured by AM General, the Hummer H1 was simply called the Hummer. But when the automaker joined forces with GM, the Hummer line was born and the SUV was rebranded as the Hummer H1.

The Hummer H1 is fully equipped to not only go off road, but off land and straight into water. Not quite a submarine, but you can trek through reasonably deep mud flats and lagoons, up to 30 inches.

Did you know that since the H1 weighs in at 6,000 pounds, owners are entitled to claim a farm equipment tax credit?

Diablo SV-R Painted for the Win

Speed, power and the star-spangled banner. What more could you want to salute, America?

The debut of the SV-R model was in 1996 when Lamborghini announced that they officially redesigned the vehicle to be a “true racing version” of the Diablo. The Lamborghini Diablo SV-R was the first of the luxury automaker’s supercars to be entered into racing.

In order to get this Lambo race-ready, the engineers stripped down the car and got rid of anything that was deemed unnecessary.

They went so far as to replace the headlights with air intakes to increase air flow on the front brakes.

A Chevy Shows off Its True Colors

This Chevy Silverado checks all the boxes when it comes to saluting America this Independence Day.

The Chevrolet nameplate has been around for over 100 years. Chevy has been making pickup trucks since 1918, well before General Motors – who didn’t have a truck available until 1930. While the Silverado was only a trim-level for old Chevy trucks, the official pickup truck was produced until 1999.

We all know how popular Chevy is, but did you know that in 2015 a Chevy vehicle was sold every 7.4 seconds?

Even more amazing is that since 1921 the US automaker has manufactured over 200 million vehicles.

American Flag Painted Ford Mustang

The Ford Mustang was an instant favorite among Americans when it was first released in 1964. In fact, it sold over 22,000 in the first day on the market.

The Ford Mustang is the classic American sports car. The newer 2017 models are equipped with a V6 engine giving even the most affordable models 300 horsepower.

All American, all power, and by far the best paint job to celebrate the spirit of July 4th. This Ford Mustang’s engine roars the American national anthem inside and out.

Dodge Charger All Done Up in Red, White, and Blue!

This list would not be complete without including a car from the century-old, American automotive company Dodge. Founded in 1900, Dodge has ingrained itself into American history and culture.

The Dodge Charger has been around for over 50 years, first appearing as a muscle car in 1966. The power underneath the hood was top of the line for its time, winning the vehicle several NASCAR races.

Since its original debut, the Dodge Charger has undergone six redesigns. Currently, the most expensive Charger in the world was manufactured during its second generation. There were only 503 Dodge Charger Daytonas ever manufactured, giving them an estimated resale value of over $1 million.

Even though this Dodge Charger is not quite that expensive, its paint job is a salute to its country  — and that’s priceless.

Happy Independence Day everyone!
