Seat Type Help!

Below please see the list of seat type categories. These category listings are to identify the type of seats you have. All Custom seat covers are made from specific patterns. The correct pattern is determined by the year, make and model you provide.

How do I know the right size for my seat?

Highback Buckets (Univeral):

Bucket seats with a solid backrest that come up high (behind your head). See Styles B & C in the Seat ID Guide.
Universal Highback will fit on standard Highback seats with a backrest height of 27"-30" measured from the front of the seat.
Highback buckets will also fit on smaller to medium size with adjustable headrest, fitting over the headrest. This way the headrest will be covered.
NOTE: If the seats have armrests, or side Airbags in seat, choose custom seat covers. Jeep Wrangler 2003 & 2004 seats require custom buckets.

Lowback Buckets (Universal):

Bucket seats with a separate headrest see seat style A & D in the Seat ID Guide. Universal Lowback seat covers are made to fit on seats with or without a separate headrest. These will fit seats with a backrest height of approx. 22" - 25" measured from the front of the seat.
Universal Lowback is made to fit under the headrest and leaves the headrest open so that it can be moved up or down.
NOTE: For seats that are contoured seats or seats with armrest or Airbags in seat (see Style D and E in the Seat ID Guide), choose custom seat covers.

Large Bench (Universal):

Large bench is for a big car or full-size truck. Large bench will fit a seat width of 59"-60". If the seat is a Chevy Truck bench it will be 57" wide. (See Style P in the Seat ID Guide)
NOTE: For seat with splits, built-in headrest or notch in seat bottom, choose custom.

Medium Bench (Universal):

Medium bench is for mid-size cars or small trucks. This will fit a seat width of 50" - 52". This can be used on the front or rear seat with a solid back, fold-down backrest. (See Style P in the Seat ID Guide)
NOTE: For seat with splits, built-in headrest or notch in seat bottom, choose custom.

Wrangler Custom Rear Bench:

Wrangler Custom Rear Bench is a custom size made for Jeep Wrangler rear bench.

Small Bench (Universal) / Wrangler Custom Rear Bench:

Small bench is solid back and bottom. Fits small bench with size of approx 38-42". Generally used on Jeep Wrangler rear bench.

Custom Buckets (Stretch Back):

Custom Buckets are made from patterns for specific vehicles. Custom buckets are needed for seats that have any of the following:
- contoured, sport type seats
- Airbags in seat
- Armrests on seat

Custom Buckets (Stretch Back) are made with solid color stretch fabric on the back of the seat.

Custom Buckets (Fabric Back):

Custom Buckets are made from patterns for specific vehicles. Custom buckets are needed for seats that have any of the following:
- contoured, sport type seats
- Airbags in seat
- Armrests on seat

Custom Buckets (Material Back) are made with the seat cover fabric (IE: Aztec Print) all the way around, including the back of the seat.

Custom Truck Sizes (40/20/40, 60/40 etc.):

Truck Split Benches, 40/20/40, 60/40, 50/50. These are custom made for each specific vehicle. (See Seat ID Guide for example of each style)
NOTE: Armrest and headrest must be ordered separately under accessories on the order form.

Truck Bench w/ Built in Headrest:

This is a custom bench seat cover made from patterns for the specific bench seat. This seat style is most common in Ford and Toyota trucks.

Rear Bench (Universal, non-folding):

Universal Rear Bench has a solid bottom and a solid back. It is made to fit standard non-folding mid size car rear benches. On some cars you may need to cut holes for the seat belts.
NOTE: If the rear bench in the car is folding, has built-in headrest or pull out arms choose custom. Custom rear benches will have holes for seatbelts.
All Truck Rear benches are custom.

Custom Buckets Car:

Custom Buckets are made from specific patterns for each car. For big size, contoured, seats with arms or Airbags, custom seat covers are needed.
NOTE: Armrest and headrest must be ordered separately under accessories on the order form.

Custom Buckets Truck, Van, Jeep, SUV:

Custom Buckets are made from specific patterns for each Truck, Van, or SUV. For big size, contoured, seats with arms or Airbags, custom seat covers are needed.
NOTE: Armrest and headrest must be ordered separately under accessories on the order form. Jeep Wrangler 2003 & 2004 seats require custom buckets.

Custom Buckets - Chevy, GM, Ford (seat belt in seat):

These are made for specific Bucket seats with seat belts that retract into the shoulder of the seat. These are usually found on Chevy, Ford and Sebring convertibles. These seat covers will have Velcro down the side seam to allow the seat covers to open and be fit under the seat belt. (See Style F in the Seat ID Guide)
NOTE: For Dodge trucks with seatbelt in seat choose Custom Truck 40/20/40.

Custom Rear Bench (Non split):

Custom made from patterns for specific vehicles. For solid back, solid bottom benches, either stationary or fold down in one piece.
Custom rear benches are needed for rear seats that need seat belt cutouts or have built in headrests.
NOTE: If seat has armrests or headrest they must be ordered separately under accessories on the order form.

Custom Rear Bench Split (60/40 - 50/50):

Custom made from patterns for specific vehicles. For fold down rear benches that are split and have multiple pieces. Allows seat to fold and function normally.
NOTE: If seat has armrests or headrest they must be ordered separately under accessories on the order form.

Car Front Custom split benches – 60/40, 50/50:

Custom made from patterns for each vehicle. 60/40 has one side seat bottom bigger than the other, with a single fold down Arm/Console in the middle. 50/50 has equal size seat bottoms that meet, with two arms in the middle.
NOTE: Armrests and headrests need to be ordered separately under accessories on the order form.

Truck Front Split Benches - 60/40, 50/50:

Custom made for specific Trucks & SUVs. 60/40, 50/50 seats may or may not have a fold down Arm/Console. (See Styles in the Seat ID Guide for examples)
NOTE: Armrests and headrests need to be ordered separately under accessories on the order form.

Truck Front Split Benches - 40/20/40:

Made from specific patterns for seats with 40/20/40 splits. These seats may or may not have a fold down console in the middle. Commonly seen in Dodge, Ford and Chevy pickups. (See Styles G or H in the Seat ID Guide)
NOTE: Console covers can be orderd separately under accessories on the order form.

For seats with 40/20/40 splits. These seats may or may not have a fold down console. Commonly seen in Dodge, Ford and Chevy pickups. (See Styles G or H in the Seat ID Guide)
NOTE: Console covers and headrests can be orderd separately under accessories on the order form.

Buckets (Universal):

Universal Buckets will fit small bucket seats over the headrest or medium seats under the headrest.
NOTE: Headrest covers can be ordered separately under the accessories on the order form.

Car/Truck Front 60/40 or 50/50 Benches:

60/40 seat will have one side of the seat bottom bigger with a single fold down Arm/Console.
50/50 seat will have equal size split bottom with two Arms in the middle.
NOTE: Armrests and headrest may be ordered separately under accessories on the order form.

Truck 40/20/40 Bench:

For seats with 40/20/40 splits. These seats may or may not have a fold down console. Commonly seen in Dodge, Ford and Chevy pickups. (See Styles G or H in the Seat ID Guide)
