Seat Covers for Honda Civic
Even if you're driving around in an older or used Civic there is no reason for the interior to actually look its age. This is why Honda Civic seat covers are more cost effective than reupholstering your Civic seats. Sometimes reupholstering can cost just as much as you would get from selling the car, depending on how old it is and how many miles it has on it.
A major success story for Honda, the Civic became popular in the U.S. almost instantly. Throughout the years, Honda has been dedicated to keeping the Civic fresh and up-to-date with new looks, body styles, interiors, features, and of course, upgraded technology. It is not surprising that there is a total of 10 generations of this compact vehicle out there. Funny enough, in the Civic's earlier years, it was considered a subcompact, but with all the changes done overtime, the Civic became a part of the compact segment instead.
Our selection of Honda Civic seat covers doesn't go back as far as 1972, since the first generation Civics are few and far between, but our listings do begin at 1976 and go all the way up to the present year.
From 1976 to 1987, we offer Sheepskin for your Civic. Our Sheepskin seat covers are made from the real deal: Australian Merino hide. What's nice about Sheepskin seat covers is that they keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter as they are made from a natural fiber. This is great for older Civics, especially since the chances of having heated seats or air conditioning.
As of the fourth generation in 1988, we offer quite a few options in Honda Civic seat covers. Two of the most popular choices for Hondas are Neo-Supreme and Velour.
Our Neo-Supreme is not the usual Neoprene that is used for diving equipment. The material is automotive grade and will withstand a lot more wear than wetsuit Neoprene. Also UV protected, it won't fade out or crack like Neoprene does in certain conditions. Our Neo-Supreme seat covers are high wearing and water resistant; giving you the best of worlds: comfort and protection.
Velour is very similar is terms of protection and comfort. It has a different feel than Neoprene though. Our Velour is a plush-feel, a velvet cloth, but still automotive grade and high wearing. It is also water resistant and UV protected.
These are two great choices for your Honda Civic, but we also have Imitation Leather, OEM and Hawaiian. Super Mesh is suitable for light duty and CORDURA® is suggested for heavy duty usage only (like construction and large dog owners).
Selecting the correct seat configuration for your Honda might seem a bit tricky at first, but when you start reading through our listings, you'll notice that we have a clearly written description and line drawing for a visual aid. We also have separate listings for Sedans and Coupes to make it even easier to order.
Keep in mind that as of 2006, the Civic comes standard with Side Impact Air Bags. We will make the necessary alterations to ensure that you are driving safely with our seat covers on.
